AUTHORS AND FEES: First author or a co-author MUST register, MUST attend the symposium, and MUST be present in front of their poster during these viewing periods to answer questions from attendees. There is no waiver of registration fees for presentation of a poster.
You may submit a poster previously shown elsewhere. No more than 1 submission will be accepted per primary poster presenter; you are allowed unlimited submissions as a secondary author.
POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
SUBMISSION: All poster abstracts must be submitted online. Designated Scientific Committee members will review abstracts submitted. Those who submit are expected to ensure all information is correct at the time of submission, contact co-presenters to ensure the accuracy of this information before finalizing your submission. Poster Abstracts are intended to represent scientific research, program development, and/or non-commercial content related to clinical practice; advertisements are not acceptable.

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE: The Symposium’s Scientific Committee will review your submissions. Each submission is considered based on its own merit, not in comparison to other submissions.
SELECTION PROCESS: Proposals will be reviewed online by the symposium’s Committee as designated by the symposium Co-chairs. Only reviewers who have demonstrated competency in research will review research-related proposals.
SUBMISSIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:

Purpose (What): Identify the overall goal/intent of the initiative, project or research.
Relevance/Significance (Why): Describe the initiative/project/research’s relevance and importance in the context of Cancer Rehabilitation. Research projects should include the aim and hypotheses.
Strategy/Implementation/Methods (How): Describe the action plan and its implementation. Research projects should include design, sample, instruments, data collection procedures, and analytic approaches used.
Evaluation/Outcomes/Results (So what): Describe findings and include actual evaluation data demonstrating the value of the research, case study, or initiative (success or failure). Note: For research projects, this section must include quantitative or qualitative data and must link to concrete results (stronger abstracts show how the results impact practice or patient outcomes).
Conclusions/Implications for Practice (And now): Discuss the meaning of the findings and their implications for nursing practice.
References: Provide three (3) peer-reviewed scientific references using the American Psychological Association (APA) format.
