     Have you ever put in miles upon miles and weeks upon weeks of training for a race, just to “bonk”, have digestive issues, or just feel too fatigued to hold your goal pace? If so, it may be worth taking a closer look at your nutrition and fueling practices. 

     Whether you run competitively or recreationally, this self-paced, virtual course will help runners examine their daily nutrition practices and discuss how to fuel throughout training to get the most out of their efforts. The course content is geared primarily towards runners competing in longer distance racing, such as half or full marathons, but we believe runners with any goal races may benefit. 

     In addition to the educational materials, runners will have access to a one-on-one consultation with our dietitians who are avid runners themselves, and have been on many startlines in their respective careers. The consultation provides runners the opportunity to apply the lessons learned in the courses as well as fine-tune race day fueling and hydration strategies. The consult can take place virtually or at most of our Memorial Hermann Rockets Sports Medicine clinics.
