This course is designed to facilitate the integration of strength & conditioning principles into clinical practice in a lab-intensive format. Participants can expect an active day focused on the science and art of exercise prescription, scaling movements, troubleshooting biomechanical inefficiencies, and plyometric progressions. The majority of the learning will be hands-on and lab-based. Please come in workout gear, well-fueled, and ready to move.

To receive continuing education credit hours you will need to be present for the entire session and complete the post course evaluation.
Continued Competency Units:
Course participants must complete any & all formal assessments, procedures, and criteria required for credit or certification. As per Memorial Hermann policy, participants must attend the entire course in order to receive CEUs/CCUs and course certificate, no partial credits will be given.
PT/PTA: Course is pending approval for 4.0 CCUs. This activity is offered by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Accredited Provider 2507019TX and meets continuing competence requirements for physical therapist and physical therapist assistant licensure renewal in Texas. The assignment of Texas PT CCUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by TPTA or TBPTE.
ATC/LAT: This course is eligible for a maximum of 4.0 CEUs for Athletic Trainers. Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine (BOC AP# P10187) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.
