Pre Summit: Journey to Excellence

Advancing Nursing Excellence: Strategies for Creating and Sustaining a Transformative Journey

This pre-conference sessions explores the evolving journey of nursing excellence, highlighting evidence-based strategies, professional governance, professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will gain insights into best practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches that drive nursing excellence across diverse care settings. Through interactive discussion, attendees will leave with practical tools to advance their own organizations’ journey toward generated and sustained excellence.

Track 1: Fostering Innovation Through EBP, Research and Clinical Inquiry

This track is dedicated to advancing nursing and clinical innovation through the integration of research, evidence-based practice (EBP), and clinical inquiry. It will spotlight projects and initiatives that challenge the status quo, bridge gaps between theory and practice, and translate evidence into meaningful outcomes. Sessions will feature clinicians who are leading the way in generating new knowledge, applying research findings to real-world settings, and cultivating a spirit of inquiry at the point of care. Participants will explore methodologies, tools, and frameworks that drive sustainable improvements, foster critical thinking, and build a culture that drives change and/or transforms health care.

 

Track 2: Unleashing Excellence in Growth and Professional Development through High-Reliability, Patient Outcomes and Safety

This dynamic and forward-thinking track explores the critical intersection of high reliability, patient safety, and clinical excellence in nursing and interdisciplinary practice. As healthcare systems continue to evolve, clinicians play a pivotal role in leading transformative growth and delivering exceptional outcomes. Participants will delve into innovative strategies that drive high-reliability practices, foster a culture of safety, and advance clinical effectiveness across diverse care settings.
