Charles Ashford is a performance nutritionist with over a decade of experience working with elite athletes. Charles currently serves as the performance nutritionist for the Dallas Mavericks. Before the Mavericks, Charles spent time in collegiate sports at the University of North Texas and Texas Tech University. He holds a master’s degree in sports nutrition and a bachelor’s in sports and exercise sciences. Charles has full practitioner registration on the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register with the British Dietetic Association alongside additional credentialing in sports nutrition, exercise physiology, and strength and conditioning.
Nick Barringer, PhD, RD, CSSD, CSCS

Dr. Nick Barringer is a highly accomplished expert in kinesiology, nutrition, and performance optimization. He holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, along with advanced degrees in exercise science and dietetics. As a Registered Dietitian, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Dr. Barringer has contributed significantly to military and tactical nutrition research, serving in leadership and academic roles across the U.S. Army, including as Program Director for the Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition and Assistant Professor at West Point. His extensive military background includes elite training such as Ranger School and Airborne School, earning numerous commendations, including the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star Medal. Dr. Barringer has played a pivotal role in advancing performance nutrition through research, securing grants, and publishing extensively in peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented at major conferences on sports nutrition, supplementation, and tactical performance, further cementing his influence in the field.

Kaitlyn Pscodna is a dually licensed clinician specializing in the intersection of nutrition, mental health, and athletic performance. With a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University, Kaitlyn brings a unique and comprehensive approach to holistic well-being. As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), Kaitlyn has amassed extensive experience working with diverse populations, from collegiate athletes to individuals recovering from eating disorders. Her work spans private practice, university settings, and collaborative healthcare environments, where she seamlessly integrates mental health support with evidence-based nutrition strategies.
Currently, Kaitlyn operates her private practice, Kaitlyn Pscodna, LLC, offering personalized counseling for issues ranging from Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) to disordered eating and sports nutrition. Additionally, she's contracted as the Campus Dietitian at St. Catherine University and as an Associate Sports Dietitian at Mind Body Endurance, where she provides individualized nutrition counseling and collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient wellness.

Wesley Tucker, PhD, RD

Wesley Tucker, PhD RDN is an Assistant Professor in Nutrition and the Director of the MS Exercise and Sports Nutrition Program at Texas Woman's University - Houston Center. Dr. Tucker has a strong research background in Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, and Cardiovascular Physiology. His current research interests at Texas Woman's University focus on the use of novel diet and exercise-based interventions to treat individuals at risk for or with existing cardiovascular diseases - in particular heart failure or stroke. Other research interests include dietary assessment, sports nutrition, and women's health and exercise performance.
Clint Wattenberg, MS, RDN
Strategies for Creating a Body Positive Culture Within Team Sport
Clint Wattenberg serves as the associate athletics director of sports nutrition and oversees all nutrition and performance matters of Virginia Tech student-athletes. His responsibilities include integrating performance nutrition into Virginia Tech’s comprehensive performance services, which includes providing nutrition education, individual counseling, menu development, body composition analysis and teaching student-athletes nutrition for life after sport.
Prior to his time at Virginia Tech, Clint was the Director of Performance Nutrition at the UFC Performance Institute and at his alma mater Cornell University. At Cornell, Clint was an All-American wrestling student athlete, Assistant Wrestling Coach, Eating Disorder Nutrition Counselor and helped found both Cornell Sports Nutrition and Body Positive Cornell. Clint also authored the eBook Performance Nutrition for Wrestlers in 2014 and spoken at several national coaching conventions to help bridge the gap in weight class sports nutrition between athletes, coaches and sport dietitians.
Clint has served as Chairperson of ASPDA's Combat and Weight Class Sports Nutrition SIG since its inception in 2023.
