Advancing Clinical Practice:
Treating Persons with Neurologic Dysfunction
TIRR Memorial Hermann Education Academy presents its 2019-2020 Advancing Clinical Practice (ACP) Series. This continuing education series is series aimed to benefit advanced level practice for clinicians treating people with Neurologic Dysfunction. As part of a series, you may sign up for any combination of classes, or attend all 12 classes, Physical Therapists (PTs) may consider using these courses as a study series for the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) exam.
All courses are open to any healthcare professional who wishes to attend. Education credits vary per class, dependent on the topic, professional practice acts, and guidance from the approved providers for Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) Clinical Competency Units (CCUs), American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Continuing Education Units (CEUs), American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) CEUs, and/or Texas Nursing Associations (TNA) CEUs.
The series will cover the following topics on the listed dates and apply for education credits for the intended professionals: Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA), Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), Social Work (SW) and Nursing professionals.

Cancellation Policy
Request for refunds need to be submitted in writing to
continuingeducationregistration@memorialhermann.org.
If you register and do not attend, or do not fulfill the requirements of the class, your course fee and all other associated fees will not be refunded
TIRR Memorial Hermann reserves the right to cancel or change any programs for due cause. Cancellation of the event by TIRR Memorial Hermann will result in a full registration refund of monies received. TIRR Memorial Hermann is not responsible for the refund of travel or hotel expenses under any circumstances. In the event of a course cancellation, participants will be notified via email & contact phone number on the registration form below. Please fill out all information in registration form.
