Attendance:	Participants must attend the entire course to receive CEU/CCU. No partial credits given, unless otherwise stated.
Method of Delivery:	Face-to-face format with both the instructor and learner in the same location.
Criteria for Completion:	Attendance, participation, completion of a post-course quiz with a passing score of 80% or greater.
Course Description:	A person who has a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) may have long-term problems affecting body structures and functions such as thinking, memory, movement, coordination, speech, swallowing, vision, activities of daily living, and emotions. As every brain injury and every person are different, physical medicine and rehabilitation professionals need a wide variety of knowledge and skills to treat these clients throughout stages of their recovery. This course will focus on knowledge and skills related to a variety of topics common for clients with a TBI.
Learning Objectives:	Upon completion of this course, attendees will: 1) Investigate current medical and research trends focused on rehabilitation needs for those with a TBI. 2) Debate current treatment practices for Upper Motor Neuron Syndrome (UMNS). 3) Practice 2 Neurobehavioral techniques to aid a client’s participation in rehabilitation programs. 4) Experiment with 2 treatment interventions for clients with TBI to aid their client’s participation in rehabilitation programs.
Assessment of Learning Objectives/Outcomes:	Participation in discussions and labs, question and answers, quiz with a passing score of 80%, and course feedback form.
